Shipping within Australia
We ship to addresses across Australia. Orders are dispatched from [dispatch location — to be confirmed] using carriers engaged by CompoundHQ. Our carrier arrangements are being finalised and will be confirmed here before launch.
Order processing
Orders are processed within [order processing timeframe — to be confirmed] business days of payment confirmation. Regulated products can take longer because licence and permit verification must be completed before dispatch or transfer. During peak periods processing may extend slightly.
Tracking
Tracking details are emailed to you once your order is dispatched. If your order has shipped and you haven't received tracking information, check your junk folder first, then contact us with your order number and we'll locate it.
Estimated delivery
Estimated delivery times after dispatch are [estimated delivery times — to be confirmed] and depend on your location and the carrier network. Estimates are guidance only — they're not guaranteed delivery dates, and your rights in relation to late or failed deliveries are set by law and our Returns & Refunds policy.
Rural & remote delivery
Rural and remote deliveries can take longer than metro estimates and may involve additional carrier legs. Where a carrier can't deliver to your address directly, your parcel may be available for collection from a nearby depot or agent.
Bulky & heavy products
Bulky or heavy products — such as safes and cabinets — require special delivery arrangements: [bulky/heavy delivery arrangements — to be confirmed]. Where an item needs a tail-lift truck or delivery assistance, we'll contact you before dispatch to arrange it and confirm any applicable charges.
PO Boxes & parcel lockers
Delivery to PO Boxes and parcel lockers is available where the carrier for your order supports it; options are confirmed at checkout. Regulated products cannot be delivered this way — see Regulated products below.
Lost or damaged parcels
If a parcel arrives damaged, note the damage with the carrier where possible, keep the packaging, and contact us within [damage reporting window — to be confirmed] so we can lodge a claim and arrange a replacement or refund. If a parcel is lost in transit, contact us — we'll investigate with the carrier and make sure you're not left out of pocket.
Address accuracy
Please check your delivery address carefully at checkout. We can't be responsible for delays or re-delivery costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied at ordering. If you notice an error after ordering, contact us straight away — if the order hasn't dispatched we'll correct it.
Delivery delays
Occasional delays happen — carrier network issues, weather events, and peak periods can all affect delivery. We'll keep you informed if we become aware of a delay affecting your order. Nothing here limits your rights in relation to products that fail to meet the consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
Shipping charges
Shipping charges and thresholds are [shipping charges & thresholds — to be confirmed] and are always shown at checkout before you pay, so there are no surprises.
Regulated products
Regulated products
Regulated products such as firearms, ammunition and restricted items cannot be shipped in the same way as ordinary ecommerce goods. Where the law requires it, firearm transfers occur through appropriately licensed firearms dealers, and you must hold the applicable licence and any required Permit to Acquire before the transaction can be completed.
Interstate arrangements may require dealer-to-dealer transfers, and the rules differ between States and Territories — the rules that apply are those of the relevant jurisdiction. We'll confirm the process and any requirements for your order before dispatch. See Firearms & Regulated Products for details.
