These terms form an agreement between you and CompoundHQ (ABN [ABN — to be confirmed]) and apply when you browse this website, create an account, or purchase products from us. By using the website you accept these terms.

You may use this website for lawful, personal shopping purposes only. You agree to provide accurate information, not to interfere with the website's operation, and not to use it for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.

You are responsible for keeping your account login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts that we reasonably believe have been misused.

We describe our products as accurately as we can, using information from our suppliers. Images and colours are indicative and may vary between devices. Product specifications can change as suppliers update their ranges. Nothing on this site is professional, legal or firearms-safety advice.

All prices are shown in Australian dollars. Prices and availability are current at the time of display and may change. Any applicable GST is shown at checkout.

Products are offered subject to availability. Stock levels change constantly, and a product being listed on the site is not a guarantee that it is in stock at the time your order is processed.

If we discover an obvious error in a price, description or image, we may correct it. If an error affects an order that has not been dispatched, we will contact you to confirm the correct details or cancel the order with a full refund of any amount paid.

When you place an order through the website, you are making an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted — and the contract formed — when we confirm that your order has been dispatched (or as otherwise required by law).

We may decline or cancel an order — before dispatch — for reasons including stock availability, a pricing error, suspicion of fraud, inability to verify delivery details, or because legal eligibility requirements for a regulated product cannot be established. If we cancel, we will explain why and refund any amount paid.

Payment is taken at the time of your order through the payment providers available at checkout. We do not store your full card details. Where a payment is later declined or reversed, we may cancel the affected order.

You can ask to cancel an order any time before dispatch — contact us with your order number and we will help where we can. These terms do not limit your rights in relation to products that fail to meet the consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.

Subject to any law that says otherwise, risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, and title (ownership) passes to you once we have received payment in full.

Manufacturer or supplier warranties that come with a product are in addition to, and do not limit, your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Requirements vary between States and Territories and by product type. Ordinary accessories — such as optics, cleaning equipment and storage gear — generally do not require licences, and we do not state otherwise unless a specific product is legally restricted. We may verify licences and permits before completing a regulated transaction, and an order may be suspended or cancelled if legal eligibility cannot be established. The CompoundHQ name, branding, imagery, website design and content are owned by CompoundHQ or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our written permission, except as permitted by law.

If you submit reviews, photos or other content to us, you grant CompoundHQ a non-exclusive licence to display it on our website and marketing channels. You must not post content that is unlawful, misleading, infringes others' rights, or breaches these terms. We may remove user content at our discretion.

We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The website may be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control.

You must not use the website in breach of law, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, disrupt the website, scrape or harvest content without permission, or resell products in a way that breaches any law applicable to you.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from these terms or a purchase is limited, at our option, to resupplying the goods, repairing or replacing the goods, or refunding the price you paid for them. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss where it is lawful to exclude it.
